The TOEFL test is run by ETS; registration and official scores sit with ETS. DexterLearn is a preparation app, not a test provider, and does not sell exam registration.
What is not here
This is the most important section on the page. We do not write up anything that is not there.
- No TOEFL Writing module. There is no section where you write a practice essay and have it marked.
- No TOEFL Speaking test format. The app has pronunciation work and conversation practice, but not a test rehearsal with cue cards and parts.
- No score estimate. We do not give you a predicted TOEFL score for your practice.
- No official practice test. Material published by the test owners is not in this app.
- No exam registration. You register with the test provider.

Frequently asked questions
Does DexterLearn prepare you for TOEFL?
On reading it does: there are 20 TOEFL Reading passages. There is no Writing or Speaking module, so on its own it is not complete TOEFL preparation.
Is there a TOEFL listening section?
There is no separate set in the TOEFL format. The app has 24 IELTS Listening sets, which can be used to build the listening habit, but they are not TOEFL format.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. You can try it once without an account. With an account the free plan opens 3 chapters and the allowance refills every 4 hours.
Does DexterLearn register you for the exam?
